Summary:_ Provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Provides for the personal care and comfort of psychiatric patients. Provides a safe, clean environment. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. Communicates with treatment team as appropriate about changes in patients condition. Able to perform general duties with adequate supervision.

Qualifications:_ High school graduate or equivalent. One to two years experience as a nursing assistant or behavioral health worker required. CPR training preferred. Current BCLS or certification within three months of hire date. Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing; additional languages preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills. Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures, sterile technique, medical terminology.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
